Food Friday!!: Cinammon-Vanilla Chia Pudding

This has become my favourite thing to eat in the morning. It's so delicious!
I hope you try it and I hope you fall in love with it too!

Bon appétit!

Ingredients
  • Chia seeds
  • Almond milk
  • Vanilla paste
  • Cinnamon
  • Maple Syrup

Method
  • In a cup/mug containing some almond milk, add the cinnamon, vanilla paste and maple syrup to taste and give the milk a good stir to ensure the ingredients have been well incorporated into it. I like to add enough cinnamon, vanilla paste and maple syrup to make the almond milk taste like melted vanilla ice cream.
  • Pour the almond milk mixture into a bowl (preferably a glass one) containing chia seeds.
(For a thicker pudding, use less milk and for a lighter one, use more (experiment till you find your preferred consistency)).
  • Cover the bowl with cling film/plastic wrap/saran wrap and store it in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4hrs) to let it thicken and form a pudding consistency
  • In the morning (or at least 4hrs later), take off the cling film and arrange some chopped fruits over the pudding. I like to use ripe nectarines, pink lady apples, bananas and berries.Serve
